You know how obsessed I am with street style photos, so in today’s post I thought I would share a few of my favourites from Seoul Fashion Week…Aside from the beautiful photography, I was extremely intrigued and fascinated that so many of these fabulous individuals managed to incorporate traditional Korean clothing, colours, patterns and silhouettes into their outfits.
Rediscovering accessories that you haven’t used in a long time often feels like you’re shopping in your own closet. I experienced this yesterday when I found my Marc by Marc Jacobs tote that I picked up years ago in Vegas. As I mentioned on Instagram, its been doused in coconut tanning oil in Turks and Caicos, travelled to Europe and back (twice) and has been carried to school hundreds of times. In today’s OOTD I decided to sport my MBMJ tote and layer up with my favourite H&M coat.
If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I’ve completely fallen in love with Philosykos by diptyque. Perhaps it’s a little on the #feelingspendy side, but the perfect balance of fresh, earthy and fruity deliciousness makes it worth every penny…and more!
Before spring is here in full force, I thought I would sport this amazing Acne inspired shearling jacket from Zara. I picked it up in the fall after seeing Pelayo Diaz rocking a similar version on his Instagram and have been loving it ever since. It looks best worn with a simple t-shirt or long-sleeve and a fabulous pair of jeans. Not only is it warm and cozy, but it literally feels like a giant teddybear is giving you a constant hug…It sounds super odd, but if you own a shearling jacket like this you totally know what I’m talking about!
Yesterday was my birthday, which means I turned 20 this year…To celebrate, I thought I would treat myself to this Balenciaga bracelet that I’ve had my eyes on since last summer. I tried it on when I was in Hawaii, didn’t end up buying it and regretted it ever since. I finally found the colour combo that I was after, so I picked it up!
Oddly enough, I find myself gravitating towards my smaller clutches and completely ignoring the bigger bags that I have in my wardrobe. They’re easier to carry and I like that I only lug around my essentials. A few examples are my wallet, sunglasses, apartment keys and so on. In today’s OOTD I’m sporting my all-time favourite Givenchy clutch and surprise, surprise, a whole lot of black.
When it comes to candles, I’m all over the place. One day I enjoy sweet, nutty fragrances and the next I’m burning Diptyque’s Feu De Bois. Without a doubt that pungent baby smells like a warm, winter, earthy fireplace (in a good way!)…At the moment, I’m loving the fresh & fruity scent of Baies. Perhaps it’s my ready for spring kind of mood?
Well friends, you may have noticed I deleted my last post featuring the bag I picked up at Zara. To be completely honest, I wasn’t 100 per cent happy with it…At the end of the day, I don’t want to post something just because I haven’t had the chance to post in a while. I want to update the blog with content I enjoy and know you’ll like just as much.
It may be one in the morning as I’m writing this, but the moment I saw this video on Hermès’ YouTube channel I had to share it with you! Not only is it fun and whimsical, but there’s something about it that makes me want to watch it over and over again…
Thankfully Banff is substantially warmer than Toronto at the moment, so I decided to pull out my leather jacket and a pair of shoes that are inspired by the one and only Pelayo Diaz. Of course I accessorized with my usual stack of bracelets, my favourite watch and this Givenchy clutch I can’t stop sporting!
