If you follow Chiara Ferragni on social media, you know she’s a master at dressing for the airport. Not only does she look chic, but she also looks comfortable and prepared for long-haul flights. To me, she’s also a great example of how sporting amazing accessories can transform an outfit. Even at the airport! Do you agree?
After a long day (especially during fall and winter), there’s nothing better than coming home and lighting one of your favourite candles. My two favourites at the moment are Voluspa’s Crisp Champagne and Mandarino Cannela.
When I launched this blog last fall, I never thought I’d be sitting at my laptop thanking all of you for reaching 400 followers. To be quite honest, I didn’t really know what I was doing, nor did I have any expectations. This just goes to show that determination, passion and hard work really pays off!
I’ve expressed my love for Cynthia Sakai and Vita Fede jewelry on social media for quite some time now. If you aren’t aware, Cynthia’s the accessory mastermind and designer for the LA-based brand. Not only is her taste impeccable, but she’s completely changed and influenced the way I wear my arm candy & wrist game on a daily basis.
One of my best friends recently asked me how to take care of leather, and to be honest I had to ask myself the same question. After doing some research, I realized there’s tons of mistakes you and I make when caring for our leather wallets, bags and so on. Today I’m sharing my top four (and easy) tips on how to care for leather.
Considering Christmas is just around the corner, I thought I would share this hilarious video I found on Mulberry’s YouTube channel. If this doesn’t get you in the Christmas spirit, I don’t know what will!
Fall is the perfect season to attach one of these furry friends to your handbag. Not only are they fun and playful, but they really can add a pop of colour & whole lot of character to any bag. Having said this, I’m quite fond of fur bag charms (specifically during autumn & winter), but only if they’re sported strategically.
Recently, Dani Song’s (Song of Style’s sister) style and accessories have been a huge inspiration of mine. Her arm candy is always on point and her style is bold and edgy. In today’s post, I’ll be showing you some of my favourite arm candy shots from her fabulous Instagram (linked below).
Today’s outfit of the day was inspired by an ensemble Kendall Jenner wore in a street style photo I posted on my Instagram earlier today (HAPPY BIRTHDAY KENDALL!). In the photo, she’s seen wearing a black leather jacket, black jeans (leather?) and all-black accessories. I was incredibly inspired by her ensemble, so I decided to sport something similar today.
In my bag, I carry a number of small pouches to keep my things organized. For example, I have one pouch dedicated to my apartment keys, one for my electronics (earbuds and phone charger) and one for my cosmetics and skin care. Today I’m going to be showing you what I keep in my cosmetic bag on the daily.
Céline’s Luggage Totes are the perfect bags to carry on a daily basis. Yes, both for men and women! Not only are they large enough to fit everything you would need on a daily basis (especially a work day), but they’re subtle-looking, come in a ton of sizes and a wide range of colours.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted to add a transparent bag or portfolio to my collection of accessories. After searching high and low for months, I finally found the perfect piece. Not only do I love the fact that you can see everything you’re carrying, but it makes it fun to put cool, quirky pieces inside as well.
Since I saw Style Over Substances’ flat lay outfit of the day, I’ve been incredibly inspired to photograph and post one of my own. They’re a great way to showcase your outfit with fun photos without having to struggle to find or ask someone to photograph you out and about.
Today I’m sporting a basic black leather jacket and an insanely soft, comfy oversized scarf. In my opinion, this is yet another outfit where accessories complete the look. A great portfolio or bag, scarf and an insane amount of “arm candy” (maybe slightly excessive in my case) can go a long way. Thanks to Lexi and sunbeamsjess on Youtube for getting me hooked on rings!
