A few days ago, my best friend and I exchanged Christmas gifts and I was blown away when I laid my eyes on this fragrance. Surprisingly enough, this is my first Chanel cologne and I couldn’t be more obsessed. If you’re looking for a super last-minute Christmas gift for a friend, boyfriend or husband, look no further!
Yesterday I went for high tea at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel and it was heavenly to say the least. The atmosphere was fantastic (as always) and best of all, it was so nice catching up with my best friend. In today’s post I thought I would kill two birds with one stone and feature two of my favourite things…fashion and food!
I wasn’t planning on posting this photo of today’s wrist game, but why not…right? If you haven’t already clued in, my inspiration for this stack came from Cynthia Sakai or the founder and designer of Vita Fede (one of my favourite jewelry brands).
In today’s post, I thought I would show you a few of the beauty-related products I’ve been loving over the past few weeks. First off is Diptyque’s Luxurious Hand Balm and lastly is Laura Mercier’s Crème de Pistache Honey Bath. Both of these products would also make great last-minute gifts if you’ve procrastinated on your Christmas shopping like me…
I don’t know about you, but I love sporting staple pieces with little unexpected twists. Recently I discovered hats or beanies with fun, quirky quotes are the perfect way to do this. Not only do they add a hint of edge to your outfit, but they’re an extremely easy way to hide bad hair days (don’t lie, we all have them!).
Even though I love a great face mask, sitting for 20 minutes and waiting for it to dry can be slightly irritating. Laneige’s Water Sleeping Mask is a life saver because you apply it before bed and wash it off in the morning.
After a four hour flight, I transported from beautiful, sunny Toronto (with no snow) to a complete winter wonderland. Although it’s incredibly beautiful, sporting an amazing outfit that’s practical and warm can be slightly more challenging. To celebrate my first OOTD in Banff, I decided to keep things simple, dress for the weather and embrace yet another all-black look.
First off, happy December everyone! Secondly, I’m so excited to announce that I’ll be using the #GlobalGarconChristmas hashtag all month long (woohoo!). As you may know, I’m flying out to Banff, Alberta on Thursday so make sure you’re following me on social media. Expect plenty of outfit of the days and a few other exciting things I have planned with my friends & family (Christmas shopping, high tea, skating…maybe, etc.).
As a student, I know firsthand how difficult the pre-holiday shenanigans can be. There’s assignments to complete, finals to write and a bunch of studying you need to cram into your busy schedule. Is it stressful? Absolutely. Although there’s always a light at the end of the tunnel.
Well everyone, looks like Kendall Jenner made Models.com’s Top 50 list for the first time ever (go Kendall!). The list tracks the girls who have the most contracts, campaigns, magazine covers and followers on social media. Perhaps this lucky lady shoud thank Kim and the rest of the Kardashian
klan clan for that one?
October and November were hectic, yet extremely rewarding months for me. Balancing school and working on the blog was quite the challenge, but I pushed through (**hard work & determination really pays off). Thankfully, things are starting to settle down so I thought I would give you a few updates on some of the cool things I have planned in December.
If you follow Chiara Ferragni on social media, you know she’s a master at dressing for the airport. Not only does she look chic, but she also looks comfortable and prepared for long-haul flights. To me, she’s also a great example of how sporting amazing accessories can transform an outfit. Even at the airport! Do you agree?
After a long day (especially during fall and winter), there’s nothing better than coming home and lighting one of your favourite candles. My two favourites at the moment are Voluspa’s Crisp Champagne and Mandarino Cannela.
When I launched this blog last fall, I never thought I’d be sitting at my laptop thanking all of you for reaching 400 followers. To be quite honest, I didn’t really know what I was doing, nor did I have any expectations. This just goes to show that determination, passion and hard work really pays off!
